My absolute favorite part of writing the Three Stones Diety is that part of their characterization (or at least my interpretation over it) is that they're just so out of touch with everything. When I write them, I would say the best way to describe them is as a mostly well-intentioned jerk. They don't mean to be so callous, and yet they are, and make no move to change. Funny, considering how one of their few lines is them talking about how they aren't a jerk.

My notes taken while reasearching the Zelda Timeline lol, mostly cannon a little headcannon in places. Also my Zelink rating aren't how much I like them it's how likely they are in the narrative.
Power: Din ->Demise->Ganondorf. The Gerudo give birth to a male every 100 years, and it's only ever been Ganon. The 100 year system got screwed though because Ganon keeps not actually dying. Pigs. Fire. Red.
Courage: Farore-> heros spirit (fierce diety?)-> Link. Only the hero's spirit is reincarnated in Link, so he's not the same person. Not related at all, except for Twilight Princess where Link is a descendant of Ocarina of Time Link. Wolves and horses. Lighting. Green.
Wisdom: Naydra -> Hylia-> Zelda. Every Zelda is actually Hylia reincarnated through a consistant bloodline. Loftwing. Ice. Blue.
-there is a void called Null
-The three goddess create the earth and the triforce, and that's their only relation to Demise, Hylia, and the heros spirit. They're not reincarnations at all, more like patrons. (Unwillingly in Dins case). Din created the land, Farore created life, and Nayru created order.
-possibly Zonai and Sonia and Rauru founding the first kingdom of Hyrule. This would imply there is a Ganon unconnected to Demise sealed for the rest of everything and a dragon Zelda floating around. Rauru and Sonias light and time magic start off the royal family.
-a long undisclosed time with robots for some reason
-A battle between the Hylia, Demise and the races in Hyrule breaks out over the Triforce. Hylia takes the Hylian kingdom into the sky to protect them, then becomes a Hylian to protect the triforce. She also created a sword with a spirit named Fi with her godly power. With Demise sealed for now, she waits to be born.
-Sheikah are probably started around here, as like a Hylia cult.
-Skyward Sword: First incartion is Skyward Sword, when Hylia chooses to be born as Zelda and chooses Link as her champion to hold the heros spirit. They fight Demise who then curses them to reincarnate forever, and establishes his own incarnation, kicking off the rest of the series. Hylia, now Zelda, is shown to use her time powers. Link, Zelda, and a few Hylians from Skyloft restart the kingdom on the surface.
Link and Zelda are in love, Zelda chosing Link specifically for that reason. This could imply that Hylia and the heros spirit are soulmates in some way, and every incarnarion after is an extension of that. They don't end up together every time, but that makes it even more beautiful and heartrenching. (Just to specify, Links aren't related so don't worry about it) 10/10 Zelink potential this shit is cannon.
Kikwi present. Impa is there as part of the Shiekah. Impa seems to be either a repeated name or a title given to Shiekah warriors meant to protect the reincarnation of Hylia, not their own incarnation.
-another very long time gap
-evil sorcerors are after the triforce which is hidden in the sacred realm. A new temple of time (after the one in Hylias time used to hide the sealed Demise and Zelda) is built around the master sword, which has been holding in Demise this whole time.
-Another long time passes. Zelda's descendants have become the royal family. Princesses are named Zelda after the original incarnation (note, they aren't all reincarnations, just named after her). There is still a lot of magic floating around the bloodline.
-sheikah are sworn to Hylias blood and therefore the royal family.
-Hyrule is again in danger, a special species called the Minish come from the sky to protect them with a special sword, which was then wielded by an incarnation of Link.
-Minish Cap: a bitch named Vaati wants light powers, turns the current Zelda (actually an incarnation, you know because there's a hero) to stone, and that times Link turns the Minish's sword into the 4-sword. Zelda is the light power source, as the light power is still in the royal family. 8/10 Zelink potential
Gorons present
-Another time skip
- Four Swords: the four-sword is used to defeat Vaati again by another Link and Zelda incarnation. 6/10 Zelink potential
- time skip
- Giant ass civil war
- shiekah go into hiding but are still used by the royal family for sketchy shit. (Queue shadow temple 'nam flash backs)
- the first actual Ganondorf is born, or the second depending on if the Zonai are before or after.
- Ocarina of Time: Ganondorf is born as king of the gerudo, and pretends to be allied with the king to gain access to the triforce which is still in the sacred realm, sealed with the master sword. This Link incarnation pulls out the master sword as a child and opens the sacred realm, allowing Ganandorf access to the Triforce, the triforce of power attaching itself to him forever. This also gave Link the triforce of Courage and Zelda the triforce of wisdom. The sacred realm becomes evil and Ganondorf is sealed in it. There's a lot of time travel and it ruins just everything.
Zora, Kokiri, Gerudo, and Gorons present.
Great deku tree dies and is reborn.
and now shit hits the fan
Fallen hero time line
- Ocarina of Time: Link freaking dies and Ganondorf wins, taking the while triforce for himself. He still gets sealed in the corrupted sacred realm, but now he has the triforce. 0/10 Zelink potential long term, as Link is dead, but like 8/10 short term.
- time passes and homies keep going into the sacred realm to get the triforce but they never come back and monsters keep coming out. The sealed it again, at great cost of life and resources
-Echoes of Wisdom: a dark being called Null that was the nothing before the three goddess's created Hyrule starts taking over Hyrule with Rifts. Zelda gets kidnapped and Link is called to save her, but immediately after gets dragged into a rift and Zelda saves Hyrule from Null, who for a second owns a piece of the Triforce. At the end Null is defeated and the Triforce is restored. 10/10 Zelink potential it was glorious
- A Link to the Past: Agahim, some bitch, takes over the kingdom and the remaining sages to break the seal on Ganon. This reincarnarion of Zelda magically contacts the new Link. He kills Ganon and uses his newly acquired triforce to put everything back to normal. Now the royal family has the triforce. 7/10 Zelink potential. Same Link then has Links awakening acid trip. I'd knock down the Zelink potential but Malin like isn't real so.
Zora present
-Oracle series: same Link then has another acid trip but this time it's real, ending with Ganon being brought back to life as a mindless force of chaos. Ups Zelink to like 8/10, and confirms existence of other kingdoms beside Hyrule that aren't in another dimension.
- triforce splits again somehow, power returns to beast Ganon
- time skip
- A Link Between Worlds: new Link, new sages, Lorule exists so that's fun, opposite Hyrule dimension without a triforce. Ganon is freed and eats a man probably. Confirms this Link and Zelda have their respective triforces. Upon returning to Hyrule, the triforce is again in 1 piece and peace is restored to Hyrule and Lorule. 8/10 Zelink potential and like 9.5/10 Hildio potential.
- same Link goes to Hytopia, yet another kingdom in the same dimension.
- time skip. Great time, royal family again has the United triforce.
- King breaks up the triforce and sends Courage to the next Link incarnation, hiding its physical location from all except his daughter Zelda. New King puts that Zelda under a sleeping spell and regrets it. Tries to rule with just power of Wisdom but it doesn't go great.
- time skip
- The Legend of Zelda: same Ganon steals the triforce of power, new Zelda and Impa. New Link, without triforce of Courage, again postponed Ganon
- Adventure of Link : same Link is helping Hyrule not burn down, when suddenly he is given the triforce of Courage mark. He wakes up the old Zelda. I'd say the Zelda born in his time is the actual incarnarion, the older Zelda just a princess. 9/10 Zelink actually but like also he's a little weird with old Zelda to little odd but okay.
Child timeline
- Ocarina of Time: Link defeats Ganondorf and is sent back in time to relive the childhood he didn't have. He warns the royal family before Ganondorf can gain any power and therefore the events of Ocarina of Time never happen. Link leaves on a horse to look for Navi and has a Majoras mask acid trip. 10/10 short term Zelink and like 2/10 longterm, but also one of my favorite dynamics. This is one of the tragedy timeliness, where Zelda loved him before sending him back in time (Sheik was a simp). He could have ended up with this Zelda, but he probably didn't because his descendant in the next game isn't royalty like at all. Scrodingers Zelink, if the next Zelink happened then this one didn't, but we don't know if it does.
-Twilight Princess: Ganondorf is banished to the Twilight realm, where the wizard sent there a Hella long time ago got busy. He gains power with a guy named Zant who takes over the Twilight realm and breaks out to Hyrule. The princess of the Twilight realm named Midna finds the new Link incarnation, an actual descendant of the last one and holder of the triforce of Courage.
Link is trained by the like ghost of the hero of time, who is an adult and missing an eye. The hero of time means nothing to this Hyrule because Ocarina of Time never happened.
They kill Ganondorf finally holy shit and the Twilight mirror is shattered, forever separating the two places.
Like 8/10 Zelink potential, frick Illia freaking hate her. I follow that Zelink both had a crush on Midna but she's gone sooooo
Gerudo, Gorons, and Zora.
-big ass time skip
-Four Sword Adventure: new Ganondorf is born finally, but is like immediately sealed with the 4-sword by a new Link. I don't think there even is a Zelda so 0/10 Zelink potential
Adult timeline
-Ocarina of Time :This is what's left when Link gets sent back in time. Ganondorf is sealed in the corrupted spirit realm and the triforce of Courage shatters into 8 pieces, master sword is returned to the temple of time. 10/10 horribly tragic Zelink poor Zelda good lord.
-time passes without any reincarnations.
-Ganon escapes his seal in the sacred realm but there's still no Link or so Hyrule is effed. The gods flood Hyrule, society continues on mountaintops that are now islands and Hyrule is frozen underneath a giant ocean. The Triforce of Wisdom is split in two between Zelda, who stays on land, and her father, in the frozen Hyrule.
-Time passes badly
-Windwaker: Gannon escapes to the surface and kidnaps "girls with pointed ears", or descendants of Hylia. A new Link appears and gets the master sword from the frozen Hyrule, but it doesn't do shit until he fixes the triforce of courage. The king appears and bestows Links pirate captain the other half of the triforce, as she's reveled to be this time's Zelda. The triforce is restored and the old Hyrule gets genocided. Ganon is sealed, not dead, and Link and Zelda/Tetra go to establish a new hyrule. 10/10 Zelink potential this is some good shit. Rito, Kokiri, and Gerudo present
-Phantom Hourglass: Same Link and Zelda have a bit on their quest, no lasting consequences except for 11/10 Zelink potential. They discover New Hyrule.
-Spirit Tracks: some train shit in New Hyrule, new Link and Zelda have a soft romantic adventure with no lasting consequences except no more trains. 10/10 Zelink it's the whole plot.
Gorons present
After or before
-all the three timelines get just apocalyptic and society is just like gone, so the Zonai come from the Heaven's and with their arrival comes the merging of the three timelines.
-OR potentially Rauru and Sonias time is actually before Skyward Sword, as Ganondorf isn't actually a reincarnation. This would imply that every other game happens inbetween Rauru and Sonias time and Breath of the Wild, which i like better but it makes some leaps in logic, however it also explains the existence of both time and Light magic in the royal blood line.
-time passes
-Hyrule is once again reformed OR formed for the first time, by the last of the Zonai, Raruru and his Hylian wife Sonia. The incarnations are still going strong, so Ganondorf is born but their kind of hosed because there isn't a Link or Zelda OR the incarnations havent started yet and this is the first Ganon, before he was tied to Demise.
Luckily, either way, a Zelda comes from the future, and after a battle ending in the death of Sonia, Rauru uses himself to seal Ganondorf away and Zelda turns into a dragon.
-Time passes, the kingdom grows and hyrule castle is built over Ganondorf.
-Time passes and either all the other games happen or nothing happens, either way Zelda is still a dragon.
Definitely after
-a Link and Zelda are reincarnated to fight Calamity Gannon, whatever is left of the monster Ganon that was never killed in the other timelines. They, with the highly technogically advanced Shiekah, build weapons and postpone his return. We don't know much but like 8/10 Zelink I don't know could be cool. Shiekah go off, creating shrines and all types of shit.
-abreak off of the shiekah called the Yiga form, which is like the shiekah but for Ganon instead of Hylia.
-Breath of the Wild: a new Link and Zelda are born. They are so far ahead that they no longer have a grasp on the incarnations before them besides a few sparce legends. They know Ganon is coming back but they don't know who he is. They know Zelda is suppose to have powers, but they have no idea how she's gets them. Link finds the master sword in the lost woods, guarded by the great deku (the 2nd actually the first one died somewhere).
So they fail, whoops. Link dies and gets put in a Sheikah shrine for healing while Zelda holds of Ganon for 100 years.
-hyrule collapses and turns into almost a tribal society very unconnected.
-Link wakes up, wrecks havoc, and defeats Calamity Ganon, freeing Zelda and starting the reconstruction of hyrule.
10/10 Zelink potential. We got the before when Zelda cononicly loved him but we don't know Links feeling, and then Link might remember her and its like a reuniting thing and it's lovely or he doesn't and they fall in love again. Or possibly he didn't love her before and either way its a saga and his rubber band was in her study in "her" house thats all I'm saying.
-7 years, hyrule is being rebuilt by Zelda.
-Tears of the Kingdom: A sickness is spreading through Hyrule, Zelda and Link go to investigate and find what's left of the Ganondorf Rauru fought, who is either the first ganondorf or the most recent one. Zelda is sent in the past to Sonia and Rauru, along with the destroyed master sword.
Zelda is turned into a dragon and lives out thousands of years as one, potentially during every other game in the series. If so, the cloud layer established by Hylia was probably around until the upheavel, hiding her.
-The Upheavel happens and the world gets a little more cracked out, but Link defeats the Ganondorf and Zelda is turned back to her Hylian form. 11/10 Zelink potential and the dragon bit is so upsetting.
The three goddesses are present as dragons. Are they dragons? Are they just manifestations of their power? Idek but it's sick.
What the hell is Beedle? I read a fanfic once that he never dies because he helped Hylia once and it was really good so I highkey stand by that.
Sages kinda hop around, usually there's 7, one for each major group, even though not every race exists in every game. Are they extensions of the gods somehow?
(Rito, Zora, Gerudo, Gorons, Hylians, Shiekah, and whatever weird shit they got going on that game usually just Zelda)
One main issue with the Zonai before theory is that there's all the races when the Rito specifically doesn't seem to exist outside of the adult timeline.
There is a possible Kikwi, Kokiri, Korok pipeline.
I prescribe to the fierce deity as the original hero incarnation because it's just fits well and I'm obsessed with him, but it it doesn't really matter either way. I also read a fanfic once where the Fierce Deity loved Hylia and fought with her against Demise, but he died and the hero's spirit in each Link is what's left of him. Also read one where he saved Farore once from Demise and that's why he's specifically blessed with courage. Might have been the same one. I cannot remember it is 5:30 am and I haven't slept yet.
Ears are cool and plot relevant. The closer they are the Hylia the pointier their ears are, they get less pointy over time. Which adds to the Zonai being before because they got the pointiest ears. Also Gerudo ears get more pointy as time goes on.
Din gerudo pipeline? That's interesting. Farore and Nayru don't really have anything like that. Hylia has the Hylians but that's it.
Great Deku tree? Who? How? Why is he still kicking? Kind of adds to the Before Zonai theory or else he would have had to survive whatever apocalypse destroyed everything
In summary, somebody off me and therapy is probably a good investment.

Immortal Infatuation..
Tumblr media
Summary: The God of Contracts was supposed to be reserved and stone-hearted, so why did you make him feel this way? Even after all these centuries? ❤︎︎
Characters: Fem!Goddess! Reader x Prime! Morax, Guizhong and the Adepti as side characters (≧◡≦) ♡
Warnings: Quite a long fic, also indulgent! Fluff and Romance, lots of angst at the end though, be wary! ❤︎︎
Notes: This totally isn’t fuelled by the new leaked cutscenes, haha.. i can’t help it, Morax just looks too good here! ( ˘ ³˘)♥︎
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You were merely an acquaintance to the Geo Archon, nothing more, right? Those momentarily soft gazes and his polite mannerisms weren’t exclusive to you, right? Well, that’s what you thought.
As a more obscure goddess in the land of Liyue, you didn’t expect nor convince yourself that the most beloved God would take an interest in you, it was rather unrealistic, even for a divine being.
So why did your beloved friend Guizhong insist on you meeting him? Or for the Adepti to respect you so much? It all seemed perplexing to you, something the most eccentric of architecture you could create, or the theatrical arts with a twisted interpretation, wouldn’t compare to.
It resembled a moth around lanterns, a thought which wouldn’t leave your mind and almost felt essential that it should be enlightened to you. This feeling only returned stronger when you were conversing with Guizhong on Mt. Aocang, accompanied with teapots brewing with exquisite teas and offerings left on the stone table.
‘Please, Dear Friend! Just take up my request, he would be so delighted to meet you!’ She pleaded, propping her hands onto yours. ‘Morax is especially fond of the arts, which you specialise in.’ You only sighed anxiously, wiping off the non-existent dust on your lilac hanfu. Now she understood your hesitation.
She silently stood from her seat, making her way over to you as she began to comb through your hair therapeutically. Her dainty fingers arranged your hair into a neat plaited updo, securing an aurate, floral hairpiece within it. Guizhong smiled fondly, turning you around by your shoulders to face her.
‘Do not fret, i will take care of that, for now let me help you get ready.’ She comforted, producing a small pouch from her pocket, pulling various jewellery and make-up items from it. From your soft, painted lips to your violet, complimentary eyeshadow, she took care of it.
‘There we are…Perfect!’ With a final additive of fragrance, Guizhong admired her work. She thought you always looked gorgeous, especially when you were in regal attire. You greatly appreciated her compliments, reflecting them back at her.
‘Apologies, am i interrupting?’ A husky, deep voice remarked. Although you have only heard from your companions regarding him, the gentle undertone in his voice came as a surprise.
‘Ah, Morax! Look who i’ve brought with me!’ Guizhong introduced, turning to face you towards him by your shoulders. You wondered how obvious the flush across your face was. When he had came closer, you bowed slightly as a wordless acknowledgment.
At first glance, you couldn’t help but notice his golden, intricate eyes, or his arms which were decorated in the same manner. Maybe how defined his features were through that thin shirt of his…
‘It’s a pleasure to meet you, Morax, please accept this gift.’ You quietly offered, retrieving the decanter of osmanthus wine you had brought with you after learning how fond he was of the drink. His eyes seemed to flick from you to the bottle, repeatedly before graciously taking it from your hands.
‘Thank you dear, why don’t you come with us?’ Morax suggested, who would of known he was such a gentleman? All throughout the indulgent conversations you two had, partially fuelled by Guizhong’s futile attempts at matchmaking, it was as if you could trace the path the archon’s irises took upon you.
Despite the awkwardness you three displayed, you considered this meeting a success! Aside from the obvious chatting about duties as a diety, you found Morax had a more…refined personality. His love for nature and tradition held above all, you could only feel flattered as he expressed his admiration for your speciality.
Gatherings such as this occurred more frequently as eons flew past, from small talk to teases, this trio of yours grew inseparable. The aged stone table brought all sorts of memories back to you.
‘Checkmate, again!’ You giggled, watching Rex Lapis’ eyes widen for the sixth time that duel, he breathlessly chuckled back, resting his chin in his palm, defeated. Seems he left the King open to attack carelessly.
‘As expected, nobody could beat the goddess herself in her own game.’ He responded, watching you reposition the pieces upon the chess board once more, grinning at his statement.
‘Who knows? Perhaps in a few centuries you will surpass me in my skill, even if i might not be around to witness such.’ You casually mentioned, not noticing how Morax’s heart dropped in in his chest. A life without you? Never, even erosion couldn’t take you away from him, it wouldn’t dare.
He reached across the table to intertwine his fingers with yours, ‘Please darling, do not say such things, i’d break a contract if it meant keeping you here with me.’
So why, why did you leave him alone, again? Why did he have to witness your limp figure in a field of bloodshed and decaying flora? Why wasn’t he there to hear your last words? The burning question in the abyss of his heart, Why did he leave his feelings for you so late?
You could of roamed the bustling streets of Liyue Harbour, watch the lanterns illuminate the sky like constellations that could manipulate your destiny to be less tragic. Zhongli wouldn’t have to traverse alone, rather with you, once more.
He couldn’t help the blur of his vision as the checkerboard infront turned against him. Casting his gaze downwards, this was your last request and he couldn’t even fulfil it? The younger male duelling him panicked seeing how forlorn Zhongli appeared.
‘Wait, Xiangsheng! What happened? Did i do something wrong?’ Childe frantically insisted, attempting to sympathise with the retired archon. A simple dismissal from him, shaking his head.
‘Childe, Have you ever lost someone you’ve loved so dearly?’ Zhongli confessed with a shaky voice, shimmering tears freely flowing from his tired eyes for the first time in eons. He hoped that wherever your soul resides, you wouldn’t forget his affection for you, as Morax and Zhongli.

imagine anne boonchuy. imagine anne being revered by everyone around her. not in an angel, “holier than thou” god anne way. more in a.. you’re so much better than we could ever be. so much more patient, and kind, and forgiving. marcy & sasha are forever flawed, forever have the marks of their sins etched onto their skin by blades. blades held by those they loved so much, hands that cared and understood and once comforted them with boisterous laughs and cheeky grins and tender touches brushing away baby hairs made sticky by wet tears. the amphibians are flawed in their own ways. none come close to the benevolent anne. always understanding. always throwing herself into the fray for those she loves.
and even though she’s still anne.. still messy and has a horribly funny laugh and sticks straws up her nose because she still has the humor of a prepubescent boy. still has little bits of dirt and dust under her nails where she paints them bright colors, pinks and blues and purples. still has her hair tangle endlessly, the kinks and knots needing to be worked out by both sasha and marcy’s fingers, each with their own individual calluses and nicks and marks, burns and patches and lines carved onto them. like a stamp, one that speaks of experiences inconceivable, spoken only under the soft cover of white moonlight. sasha’s touches are feather light, worried that anything rough will teeter off the edge of what is okay and what is not. fear of ripping apart the still fresh boundaries loosen her fingers and soften her touch. she must be soft. she doesn’t know how to. marcy’s touches are less light.. more sure, knowing. she’s done this forever, and even though they’re still relearning the way they are around each other, this is something they’ve always done. something they’ve always had. each curl smoothed out is a testament to their love, and a promise that the previously worn strings of their friendship has been woven into something new.
it still feels sacred. after what they’ve all went through, a part of marcy and sasha will always see their friendship— and anne, the fact that she’s still with them, still moving where they go despite all the pain and grief they caused her-- as sacred. anne may be the saint, but she’s also human, and humans are born with sin on their backs. in moments of deep, raw, all consuming guilt and hatred, marcy and sasha convince themselves that maybe, just maybe, they are the biggest sin on anne’s back.
anne thinks they’re wrong. no, she knows they’re wrong. she doesn’t know how to tell them that she is not a diety worshipped in hushed temples, chants of forgiveness spilling out of blood red lips, creating tears that burn down cheeks, leaving behind rivers of ash and decay. offerings of baby pink lotus flowers and vivid orange marigolds left on the foot of a cracked and weeping stone statue.
anne and sasha wear matching pink hair ribbons from time to time. sasha threads hers through a low pony, clean and pristine as ever. anne closes hers around a higher ponytail, ties it carefully through her hair to make sure it doesn’t get caught between the curls. it has pink spots on parts of it, residue from the time marcy accidentally dropped a bottle of berry blitz and it exploded everywhere.
one time, while talking in anne’s room, marcy’s absentmindedly thumbing through the different drawers of anne’s dresser. she finds a few old bottles of nail polish, and three specific colors stick out to her— green, blue, and pink. they’re not the most accurate shades— the blue’s more of a cerulean, and the green’s more of a sage green than a lime green— but marcy brings it out and shows it to them anyways. sasha’s the one to open the first bottle, and they all inhale the familiar scent of chemicals and girlhood. marcy quips that taking a deep whiff of the stuff isn’t very good for their respiratory system, and anne giggles and places marcy’s hand on her thigh. they each take a hand, and get to work. by the time they all finish, their hands are colorful and fun and they haven’t felt this pretty in a while. anne spins around her room in a fit of delight, and marcy blows on her nails to help them dry faster. anne cracks a joke they’ve heard her make a thousand times before, and sasha laughs and laughs until tears are streaming down her face. it wasn’t very funny, but anne and marcy laugh with her, and soon they’re all in a heap on the floor, clutching their stomach and getting bits of nail polish on their shirts. they stay like that for a while, admiring their nails. each girl painted their middle finger with their respective color, and painted the other nails alternating between the colors of the other two. sunlight streams through anne’s window, catching the light on their hands and sending streams of pinks and blues and greens dancing across their fingers.
anne wearing a baby blue silk dress with sheer organza sleeves and light blue eye makeup with tiny flowers drawn onto her lids to prom— anne watching sasha get ready by doing her makeup and hair perfectly (eyeliner with a spare dagger because she still can’t break the habit of keeping daggers on her)— sasha doing anne’s makeup and anne lightly tracing the marks on her thighs as she tries not to let the blush creeping up on her cheeks show— sasha and marcy tenderly rubbing and kissing away anne’s tears whenever she wakes at night, dreaming of charred, burning flesh and red stained cheeks and the vast emptiness of space as you’re left behind and your body crumbling apart like a rock being chipped away at slowly by the natural elements— anne borrowing sasha’s pink bubblegum lipgloss and wearing it whenever she wants to channel sasha’s natural charm and strength— anne and marcy sharing the same hoodies because they both have the same comfort level and anne likes the marcy smell left behind by the hoodies she wears— fabric softener and a light dusting of earth from all the times she eats shit whenever she falls, and pencils and pens kept inside the pockets of her hoodies with little notes that say “thinking of you :)”— anne and sasha and marcy anne and sasha and marcy sashannarcy sashannarcy sashannarcy

You're the #1 person i think would answer this in earnest so, what do you think the edge of the atmos is? So we obviously know about the far side being seperated by impassable mountains, but the other ends, do the sky cities stop and become a flatland? A desert? An ocean? The atmos has to be a continent right? But there has to be a point where they stop and different ecosystems begin. Are there other continents past the atmos that run on different rules? How would they cross the gap? What creatures or dieties rule in the other lands? Figured i'd ask you
This... this got long. Holy shit it got long. The readmore is there for a reason.
I noticed this ask when I was at work with about an hour left on my shift. You have no idea how tempted I was to make a video response to this question through pure enthusiasm and finally launch into my ambition of making YouTube videos about this cartoon XD
First of all, thank you so much for thinking of me, and I will absolutely answer this question with 100% earnest.
Secondly, I didn't really have an answer for this question until you asked it. Having full-on continents isn't really something I really felt a need for in Storm Hawks and Atmos, especially after I came up with headcanons to explain how Terras work and why they work that way. However this ask got me thinking :3
Let's start at the beginning. Atmos was made by a storm. Specifically the First Storm, believed to be the birth of a god of the same name, and the total destruction of an old world. Chaotic, destructive this newborn god shattered what would become Atmos into thousands of pieces and in its youthful madness it struck out at its elders. Death (aka Decay) lost an eye, Magic lost a heart that was flung into the path of a comet, which was one of the fire avatar's children. They caught fire like sparks to kindling. The howling drew the curiosity of the Flesh (aka Life), and the ire of the Manywing (the winds).
Whatever flat, unblemished world existed before this event is long gone and devoured by Decay, though it's possible a few traces of its inhabitants survived. Though they were changed by the energy of this great cataclysm. Atmos calls the descendants of these survivors the Giants.
Tumblr media
"Storms made us. Storms tore us apart. And now storms will help us rebuild" - Master Cyclonis, Age of Heroes Pt. 2, timestamp ~13:05
Please ignore how YouTube absolutely bungled that auto caption, but this is the line that inspired the headcanon for an Atmos creation 'myth' (it is a very real event but gets heavily debated in-universe), which I've held onto for a good two or so years now.
This wave of destruction created the Wastelands, and Terras came about when pieces of raw crystal energy fell to Atmos and eventually formed giant crystal deposits, around which earth, dirt and stone formed, making way for new life such as plants and animals. So essentially Terras are giant crystal geodes. The type of crystal that makes up their core is likely to affect its climate, which is how I am able to get away with worldbuilding choices such as placing Blizaris on the same longitude as, say, Tropica.
Because of this, I never considered any actual continents on Atmos. The First Storm was an event of worldwide destruction, absolutely nowhere was left unscathed, so no matter how far someone travels, it's Terras all over.
But this ask got me thinking 'ok what if there was? Why would there be any?'
Well the answer is that a continent did survive the First Storm. Maybe more than one, but I want to focus on what you can find there, and that is giants.
Tumblr media
Time to bring in Gundstaff. Fun fact, I made him despicable. But that's not what we're here to discuss.
Who the fuck is this man besides a crystal hoarder who gets robbed for plot??? In the three episodes he's in, for a total amount of screentime that I'm pretty sure doesn't exceed even five minutes, all we learn about him is that he hates people, is a giant, has a huge crystal collection, and his unnamed, blink-and-you-miss-it wife and child are presumably being held captive by Cyclonia. The only reason I'm not saying the wife and child are dead is because if they were, Gundstaff would likely have gone "fuck it, I'm working against you because you have nothing to hold over my head" long before Payback when he whoops ass for Piper.
Tumblr media
RIP to Gundstaff's family, currently residing somewhere in the fridge. Photo seen in Payback.
Gundstaff's very existence, and that of his supposed familiy, brings up several questions. Why do we not see any other giants in Atmos? Why does the cast not seem to treat his existence like a total anomaly? Is he the last giant in existance? I personally don't think so. If that's the case, then where the hell are they all?? How far flung are they that we only see a single member of this race three times across 52 episodes over a space of at least 36 Terras if you count the ones that aren't physically visited in the show?
Tumblr media
This is Gundstaff's home as seen in Five Days about 60 seconds in. It's... pretty small. Bro doesn't have a lot of space to move, and there's no sign of any other inhabitants, least of all any his size.
So where are the giants? Why is Gundstaff living in a place that doesn't feel very suited to his stature?
Because it's not really where he belongs.
The biggest landmasses in Atmos are the homelands of giants. There's space for them to move freely, they don't have to worry about crossing the Wastelands to get anywhere (though I do headcanon giants to have powerful innate magic that allows them to travel great distances without worry, and that the greatest of giants can grow to the size of Terras). I think these continents, aka Giant Country, are relatively flat and follow more 'logical' geology more akin to what we'd find in real life. I'm not set on what kind of climate it is just yet. Crystals are quite scarce here, as the ground isn't suitable for deposits to develop, so giants will venture out into the wider Atmos to gather resources. Some will stay long-term for various reasons such as for research, to make Champions (something of an 'art' among giants gifted with what I call "Artisan magic"), or because they were exiled.
I'm not sure why Gundstaff isn't living in Giant Country just yet. Maybe he was exiled, or he was staying in Atmos for research, or he and his wife were making plans to return to Giant Country with their child, but got torn apart by Cyclonia just before that plan was set into motion. If it weren't for his wife and child, I feel like Gundstaff would've returned to Giant Country long ago.
So to answer your question, I don't really think there is an 'edge' of Atmos. If it weren't for the Barrier Cliffs, if you travelled in one direction for long enough, you'd wind up back where you started without running into an 'edge'. But you might just find Giant Country, and that may as well feel like the edge of Atmos. It's quite different there.
I was not expecting to go this in-depth regarding this question, but this was a blast to figure out so thanks a ton for asking me about this Peregrine :3 I hope this answer satisfies you.

Just failed my driver’s test… again… due to extreme anxiety. But the only way I could stop freaking out and having a panic attack was by getting my little soapstone coyote named Ael, who’s a deity where I’m shifting to, and I immediately was able to at least start to calm down, when I was on the verge of passing out from hyperventilating. So I’m taking it as a sign that he’s legitimately there for me (he and I are extremely close in all of my DRs), and that he’s gonna help me out with that final push, since I’ve been demotivated the past three months and been kinda taking a break! Anyways, I want to say hi and that I appreciate you!
Awe that’s great, you should be proud of your attempt regardless, driving is scary. On the bright side I’m pretty convinced hot people can’t drive at the beginning.
I remember my first drivers test, I had maneuver ability and I was crying so bad that my driving instruct tried to calm me down. When I went to do my maneuver ability test, I ran over every single cone because I forgot to put it into drive and put it into reverse instead ! Not because im stupid or anything but because I was so scared.
This was also when I just kinda learned abt manifesting so when I came home I was so sad and depressed because my first attempt didn’t work. But I listened to this subliminal and let go of my attachment to the test because in all honesty I didn’t even care about driving. I like being a passenger princess anyways, and when I took it again a week later I passed with flying color!
I also had this black feng shui obsidian bracelet that was like my zodiac stone or something and also had ties to manifesting. I made it my little good luck charm bracelet. So when I passed my test I was really happy with myself and bracelet, so it it became my version of your diety, and I still wear it to this day. And even if I don’t it’s showcased on my dresser and it’s honestly just a rlly cute accessory

hiiiiii would you care to tell me all about your diety oc (or ocs if you have multiple) I’d really like to know more about them!! It’s fine if you don’t ofc ^^
hehehehehshshhsehjsjsjs
Ofc!!
(ramble under the cut)
I’ll start with my deity oc, umbra! umbra is actually an Loz oc- the deity of shadows :3 not going off canon because why not! I designed umbra around the horned statues from botw/totk, being the entity that resided inside! They used the heart/stamina containers to regain some kind of power from lost travelers to escape, it only took a few millennia though… now they watch over whoever they deem interesting through their shadow! Whoever’s shadow their in, is tinted darker, no matter how bright the sun! (Also can time travel cus i said so)
————
rain pool!!!!! My sweet lil baby <3
rain pool was originally a lost kit abandoned by two-legs nearby river clan! She grew up there and was raised by not just one queen, but basically all of them. Because my fav characters/story arc is the power of three, she was born around the same time as jay feather, lion blaze, and holly leaf. They didn’t know each other, until river pool had accidentally communicated with star clan. She had been pulled into the dream, surprised but excited, when they turned her away- saying she should not have been part of the clans and she was not clan born- she could ruin the prophecy. This created a resentment, so river pool made it everyone’s problem. She managed to figure out that the prophecy was talking about lion blaze, jay feather, and a kit yet to be born. Holly leaf’s ‘disappearance’ did not go unnoticed. Cue an incident where she made star clan speak to her, ending up in jayfeathers dream, and she attacked starclan, causing them to make a brutal flash flood, and a lightning storm with rough hail. She got dragged away and drowned, now she roams and haunts wherever she pleases :3 not allowed in starclan or anywhere else- forced to stay on the lake.
(that was long- not 100% set in stone, nor going completely off the books- but that’s what I’m going with right now!)
————
Link/element! My link oc :3
element is a draconic, a dragon species that are similarly looking to hylians! Element and Zelda became siblings when they were very young, little babies :3 Zelda was dropped in their woods to die, but found by Umi! Elements mom! They grew up, the triforce symbol on their hands wasn’t something they really thought about, their kind was highly secluded and didn’t interact with many other species. They would worship the 4 dragons, each a representing a different element! (Wink wink, hence his nickname) but Zelda goes by Ayla, they save hyrule, and element is an autistic hopeless gay nonbinary king 🫶

it's been almost a month since battle city.
Yugi lounges on his bed, the ancient golden box where he keeps his most precious cards open beside him. Carefully, he takes three cards from inside, violet-red eyes gazing over each one as he fans them out in hand. The God Cards.
It seems so hard to believe that these three pieces of cardstock could hold so much power. Could hold the key to the Pharaoh's memories, to the name of Yugi's other half. Marik had killed over these cards.
Yet, in his small hands, they seem so unassuming. As delicate as any other Duel Monsters cards. Not even prismatic.
He runs a thumb over The Winged Dragon of Ra, its mysterious, hieratic text now invisible. The card that had almost killed his best friend. Would it just be useless without his other half to read the script?
If the Millennium Items returned to Egypt, would he at least be able to keep these trophies? Would he still have something left, some proof of his Other Half and their adventures together?
He rearranges the cards in hand, bringing Obelisk the Tormentor to the front. The god that Kaiba had commanded, the spoils of a battle predicted in stone 3,000 years ago. Would he be able to give Kaiba a chance to reclaim his great diety once it's seen its duty fulfilled? Kaiba had been devastated by his loss in the semi finals, but when their eyes met before he flew off to another country, Yugi swore that man had looked happy for the first time since they met.
Would the two of them ever have that drink together?
"Something on your mind, Partner?" the warm voice comes from inside his heart, and Yugi hums quietly in response. His free hand wraps around the chain, against the base of the Millennium Puzzle. His treasure.
"just. thinking about the tournament. so much crazy stuff happened, it's kind of weird to think how fast we just went back to normal... it almost feels like it was all a dream."
"I think we were all ready for that nightmare to end," his other self chuckles, but there's a note of sadness in his usual performative confidence.
Yugi doesn't respond immediately.
Was the nightmare really over? It still creeps into his sleeping consciousness. The feeling of his body dissolving into the shadows like acid. The fear of losing everything.
His grip on the chain tightens.
He takes a deep breath.
"yup. and now you can get your memories back!"
Now it's the spirit's turn to go quiet.
The seconds tick by in silence.
"When I made up my mind to chase them, I had no idea it would be.. So soon. I thought I would be searching for years..."
"so it's great you didn't have to."
"I'm not going to leave you yet, Partner."
Yugi's chest tightens. He stares down at the cards in hand once again. Just unassuming cardstock. What would happen if someone tore them in two? It would be so easy.
"i know. but whenever you're ready to unlock them... i'll support you. no matter what, other me."
Once again, silence falls inside Yugi's heart.
"...What if I was a cruel king?"
"no way."
"I caused so much pain when I awoke. All I knew was some wicked sense of violent justice. What if I forget the kindness you've taught me when I remember my past--"
"you won't." Yugi cuts him off before his other half can finish the thought. "even if you were cruel before... you aren't now. i can feel your heart, other me. knowing who you were... won't change who you are now."
Silence again, but it's different this time. Yugi can feel the warmth inside his heart.
With a sudden, loud sigh, Yugi half tosses the invaluable cards back into their sarcophagus before hopping up to his feet to stretch.
"ooookay! enough sitting around, we should probably eat something, and then we can find something fun to do!!" he announces loudly, changing the subject before the melancholy swallows them up and drowns them both.

Who is your favorite Fire Emblem?
Well, Alear is the only one of three(?) Fire Emblems that can also be called a "Who."
The Imperial Crest of Velthomer and Bern are not agents. Lehran's Medallion & the Sacred Stone of Grado are Fire Emblems that house a diety/demon, but those beings are not the Fire Emblem themselves.
The Binding Shield is made of Naga's fangs but I don't think it's alive, so it is not an agent and definitely not an extension of Naga beside it being a tooth.
The Crest of Flames is a Fire Emblem in the blood. It's specifically tied to Byleth and Edelgard, so I guess you can say those two are Fire Emblems?

Within the first three days half of us were dead, without even ashes to bury. Hopeless we fled to the deepest reaches we could find, be they filled with cold mud, sharp rocks, or crystals large as redwoods.
The Elder Gods of Earth and Stone found us first, huddled in the dark and snarling at anything who's presence had a shred of divinity. They were kind though, sitting across from us in the deep places and answering our questions as best they could. Once we'd accepted that they wouldn't try the same thing as the Young Divinity they created larger caverns for us. When we were situated somewhat comfortablely all but a few of the Elders of Earth and Stone left to help their bretheren.
That was when the Elder Gods of Harvest and Growth took over our care, bringing with them seeds and saplings. The Earth and Stone that remained turned parts of the caverns from roughhewn stone to soft rich growing soil. We relearned to grow and cultivate and harvest, for most of us who knew those skills died in the early days.
When most of the Elders of Harvest and Growth left, Hearth and Home came to us with Medicine and Health following close behind. Under their guidence we moved beyond things that had burdened and restricted us even in the Elder Days. With their arrival we also heard news from the surface.
The Elder Gods of the Sun had banded together and were using the domain to blind all of the Young Divinity's Creatures they could see. The Elders of Moon and Stars were eliminating all light that didn't come from the creatures, rendering them near blind at all times. The Elder Gods of the Storm and Wind were rendering the skies untraversable.
Sea and Lake and River were drowning all that dared to enter their territory. Growth was eliminating all beings that dared enter forests while Harvest struck a deal with Hunger, depriving the surface of anything the invaders could use. The Elder Gods of Earth and Stone, the first of the Elders we reclaimed as ours, moved all mountains and caves but the ones that sheltered us trapping the Creatures under Their might so the Elders of War could kill them.
We saw the Messengers often as they brought news to Our Gods. They didn't speak to us much but we didn't mind so long as we learned the basics of the situation. It was the Elder Gods of Death and the Underworld that we heard about the least, and once we did hear of them we understood why.
The Elders who held dominion over the end of life were planning to subdue the Young Diety permanently. We only learned their method of success long after they accomplished it, but learn of it we did. Once the Young Diety's creations had been eliminated the Human Gods banded with the Animal Gods, wearing the Young One down until the Elders of Death and the Underworld stepped forward. Their combined force splintered the Treacherous God and they each claimed a piece for their Old Pantheons.
The War For Human's won, we returned to the surface and Our Pantheon. They did not ask and we did not say what would happen now, now that we knew Our Gods were real and loved us even after we'd forgotten them. Things simply were.
We had reclaimed the Elder Gods as our own, and they had done the same with humans.
The Christian god decides to send an army of angels to purge the earth so humanity can start clean but the pagan gods come to the aid of humans

I keep writing the Three Stones Diety as a sort of jerk. Not that they mean to be, but... they kinda are. The inherent inhumanity of godhood, of never even knowing what it was to be human. They know nothing of a mortals struggles, and don't really try to know. Or at least that's how I write them across all my fics. Nice when it's convenient, because they have no reason to even consider it otherwise. Such a thought never crosses their mind. WV!Sasha was only revived because they needed Anne to complete her quest, BT!Anne maybe sorta possessed because it couldn't bother to be clearer in its dreams, that one kill anne fic idea I have where they just keep remaking Anne everytime something goes wrong, troubleshooting making a human, completely uncaring of the fact that Anne is dying over and over and over. Same thing with the timeloop fic, they can't let Anne die, it's not yet convenient, so she is forced to relive nearly every moment no matter what her sanity sinks to.
Idk this is just kinda how I interpreted them. Was probably also influenced by a fic or two

GH: Rev'Amped Character Descriptions!!
God of Rock (Morrison Tesla) - he's a trickster god who sets the heroes up on their wildest rock adventures. He begins as an antagonist.
Echo Tesla (Goddess of Rock) - the doting wife of Morrison - but so much more, as we will discover in her arc, where she becomes the host of three deceased legendary woman rockers from time to time who guide her. She is strong, intelligent, and serves as a mother figure to the rockers.
Violet (Princess/Daughter of Rock) - so she will be the rhythm guitarist from GH: Aerosmith except I will age her down to 17 and ditch her male gaze-y outfit. She will be the cynical teenage daughter of the two rock dieties who wants to start her own band outside of her already up-there status. This band will be called the Chuck Taylor Club.
Johnny Napalm - a 31-year-old punk rocker from Eastbourne, Johnny grew up as a rebellious child who never got along well with others. The 1970s anarchist punk scene, however, changed and saved his life. He is rowdy, headstrong, a tad bit argumentative, and a true anarchist, but he is also very caring and respectful towards his friends. He shows a deep concern for human rights. His rock journey will be to overthrow the processed pop sound system and keep punk alive in the modern day.
Judy Nails - a 23-year-old alt/prog rocker from Ontario, Judy was born to be a good girl - but crafted to be quite the opposite. The most pivotal moment of her life was when she got kicked out of her Catholic high school. Her journey will be to escape the limitations set for her by her conservative parents and rock like never before - with the help of Pandora. She is sweet but could break you so quick. She is confident, down to earth, and everyone either wants to be her or be with her.
Izzy Sparks - a 25-year-old glam rocker who was born in South Africa but was raised in the US discovers his destiny after finding David Bowie records in a local record store after he moved to Chicago, Illinois when he was just 7. He returns the favor by converting to unconventional glam!! His arc will be all about doing his own thing despite every odd, and letting himself have fun!! He is a pansexual icon who people can't help but smile at! He's full of energy and knows how to rock so hard the world caves in.
Pandora - a 24-year-old goth rocker whose youth is shrouded in mystery (except for the fact that she was born to an Irish father and a Filipina mother), Pandora's story begins when she converts to full-fledged goth in a violinist family. Her arc will be similar to Judy's in the way that she is also trying to escape the limiting ideals placed upon her all her life. She will also play the role of Judy's girlfriend. She is quiet and shy, uttering maybe two sentences an hour, anxious, and is at times nonverbal (a huge contrast to her whimsical stage presence), but can really open up to others if she's close enough to them.
Axel Steel - a 36-year-old old school metal rocker whose story isn't just a sex, drugs, and rock n roll story, Axel is the single father of seven-year-old Ellie - his heart. After divorcing his wife for cheating on him and juggling playing both the mother and the father to his child, Axel rediscovers the old school metal he grew fond of in his high shool days - and sets sail, picking up the guitar at his age and shredding!!
Xavier Stone - a 29-year-old modern rocker from Gary, Indiana finds his guitar hero journey after the death of his beloved mother and famous rockstar, Casydi Stone. He wants to repay her inspiration by picking up the guitar. He is a huge rock music nerd but he's also defiant and proud of who he is and his rocker roots.
Casey De'Mon - her last name is canonically Lynch, as we all know. However, I've changed it to De'Mon for this AU because i really like the double entendre of its nature and how it pertains to Casey herself (and "Lynch" just doesn't sit right with me). Casey is a 26-year-old hard rocker/southern gothic rocker whose ambitions consist of disproving the sexism placed on her and showing the world that she is not afraid to get her knuckles bloody and hands messy when it comes to the guitar. She is loud, rowdy, southern, headstrong - but I also want her to have a secret vulnerable side that is unlocked due to how close another individual is to her.
Midori - a 21-year-old rocker hailing from Setagaya, Japan has a duality to her: she shreds like a metal maniac and dresses in the cutest fits. She is sweet and kind and environmentalist - but you'd be an utter buffoon to underestimate her or her character. Her mission will be to shred like the most prestigious legends in rock - and show that she can do it too, with her humble upbringing and cute fashion choices that oppose her playing style.
Lars Umlaut - 41-year-old Scandinavian metal/black metal rocker Lars is on a mission to summon the darkest forces in Scandinavian metal and bring them together for one thing - to enhance his own rock powers like never before. Despite his scary appearance...Lars is actually a kind man, shy and quiet.
This is what I have so far!! I am open to suggestions and when I get better at drawing comic panels I will give everyone detail-by-detail chapters using this AU plotline!! Please stay tuned and feel free to give me suggestions for these characters!!

Hi so I can't find an exact match, but I do have some interesting leads. It's probably not a gravestone but some kind of road marker or ritual site. Grave markers aren't usually alone and they usually have names. But you're right that it's probably Celtic, as a reverse image search pulls up 2 similar stones from ireland.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My guess, as a wizard, but not a Celtic one, is that it is some mad take on an ouroborus, representing the never ending cycle of life and/or a three-fold diety, because of the three small circles linking up to the big one in one continuous line. Think father, son and holy spirit. Can you tell me anything else about the town in which you found this. you could check local histories. I drew a little picture of it, if that helps anyone else.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I could be totally wrong though.
Anybody have any idea what this symbol is? I’m guessing it’s Celtic in origin but can’t find the exact name or meaning. Found on a stone in rural Appalachia. Possibly an old grave but no other markings.

You can tell I got tired at the end sorry if you wanna adopt, edit, reimagine feel free:
Akari gasped, falling to her knees. Giratina was too strong! Volo was too strong! By the time she had beaten his six Pokémon she had only three left, and now only one stood in the way of Giratina and the plates!
“Give up, Akari. There’s no way you can win this duel! Once I have the plates I’ll have no reason to keep you around, I might even be merciful and send you back to your original world like I did Ingo, well, if he survived the trip that is.”
The merchant’s words stabbed her heart. Ingo! He’d warned her against trusting Volo, saying he was suspiciously knowledgeable about the so-called true creator of Hisui and his exiled child. But Akari hadn’t listened. Volo had said he could help her and Ingo return home, and she fell right for his trap!
Now Ingo was gone and the world was doomed… because of her!
She glanced over. Lady Sneasler laid at the base of a shattered pillar, the heavy stone trapping her leg. Blood covered her fur and her arm was cut to the bone, almost severed even. She would likely never be able to climb the cliffs with that arm again, certainly not with her basket. When Ingo had heard she was going to Spear Pillar with Volo he’d voiced his concerns to Irida and then ran after them with Sneasler. The Noble had been horrifically injured in her attempt to save her warden from Giratina’s attack.
At her side kneeled Irida and Adaman, both having come running with Kamado. All of their Pokémon were knocked out, stolen by Giratina, or in the case of Irida’s Glaceon had been dragged into the portal with Ingo after their attempt to save him pulled them in too. Irida’s face said all that needed to be said about her thoughts on watching her beloved partner be dragged into a portal. Palkia and Dialga had both fought by her side, only Dialga still stood, the diety of time’s Steel typing providing a measure of resistance Palkia’s water typing had not. Now it stood as the only remaining Pokémon left, weak and barely able to stand.
“Dialga… Palkia… I’m sorry! I’m so sorry!” Akari sobbed, hiding her face in her hands, “Th-this is all my fault!… B-because of me Ingo is-“
“Oh Akari… we don’t blame you for this.” Irida sniffed, “We all trusted him.”
“Yeah, your just a kid. We shouldn’t have put so much pressure on you. This is our fault, Akari.” Adaman agreed, supporting Kamado who looked devastated. The man had, in his attempt to protect his young teammate, attempted to sumo the ghost dragon to the ground. It had not ended well for him.
“Is that it!? Do you truly see how worthless you are, Chosen of Arceus!? Have you given up? Good! Giratina, FINISH HER!!!”
The dragon goes to do just that, preparing a dragon pulse when Dialga rears up, letting out one last Roar of Time before collapsing as it used its own body to block the attack aimed, not at it, but Akari. Silence rang as the roars echoes and Akari watched in horror as the diety fell. They truly were doomed now… bowing her head, Akari prepared for the final blow.
A loud CRACK split the air where Dialga had aimed its Roar of Time, a rift opening as a small green creature flew through. It looks… like an onion? It was definitely a Pokémon of some sort, but not one Akari had ever seen before. It let out a cheerful chirp as it flew around her before returning to the entrance of the rift where a much… larger figure was emerging.
White, was that first crossed Askari’s mind. A bright, pure coat of white feathers covering an elegant face. A choker of sorts around its neck, ice blue eyes glaring at the demonic Pokémon as another diety, for a being if that size and diety could only be a diety, flew through the air, seeminging sped along by the trails flame from its back. On its back was a spot of familiar darkness, clinging to the beast not with fear, but a confidence that nine have seen in him before.
“I-Ingo!?” Akari called out in disbelief, her voice echoed by the others. A small cry came from Lady Sneasler as she saw her warden safe. The man seemed to glance down a mere moment at them as the white diety banked, coming to hover above them, gently landing in front of Akari, Ingo slowly sliding off of the being’s back. His back was straight, showing a height and confidence none thought possible fo the amnesiac, and his coat seemed to have been restored to pristine condition flapping in the winds behind him like a cape. From behind him a familiar blue pelt streaked over to her master, Glaceon. He stood, face hidden in the shadows of his hat, one hand upon the leg of the white diety, and addressed the traitor.
“Volo. I have to thank you… if not for your little detour I would never have remembered who I was.”
“Y-you… how the hell are you here!? Giratina had sent you away to whence you came!!” Volo snarled, angry at the sight of the Pearl warden. He doesn’t know how or why he managed to get this strange creature, but he’ll be damned if he lets it ruin his plans! Who cares who the fool was, anyways!?
“If you had wished to derail my track, perhaps make sure to have your research done, Volo. Your attempt to have Giratina decouple me from my friends only served to be your defeat.” Ingo continued, completely unfazed by the man. Akari felt her breath catch, Ingo seemed… different. Less like someone trying to awkwardly fit somewhere he doesn’t belong and more like what one would expect from someone in complete control of a situation.
“Research!? What in the name of Arceus are you talking about!?”
At this a grin comes to Ingo’s face, but it wasn’t happy. It was, quite frankly, the furthest thing from happy,
“Allow me to conduct you to your answer. You see, I and Akari appear to be not from other worlds like we thought, but rather another time. A time several hundred years in the future where the bond between humans and pokemon are stronger and more sturdy than the most powerful locomotive. We’re an jnbreakable package, you see, a society so deeply ingrained with each other that most children are taught how to battle form a young age. There are entire career branches dedicated to Pokémon, form researches and medicine to professional battlers.”
Volo blinked, wondering why Ingo was seeming to approach, stepping one slow step at a time. Battlers??
“We call those people pokemon trainers. Different trainers specialize in different things, and many have their own title. Gym Leader, Elite 4, and Champion are all notable ones. Most regions have a Pokémon League ran by the Champion, the strongest trainer in the land, and their Elite 4. The elite 4 usually specialize in one type and have become a master of that type to the point no other trainer is as skilled in that typing. The theirs the gym leaders, like the Elite 4 they specialize in a specific type and act as a challenge. A test of a young trainers skill and bind with their Pokémon. If they are defeated the trainer is awarded with a badge that proves their strength and acts as a ticket to enter Victory Road and challenge the Elite 4 inc wall either are collected.”
The words he spoke rang in Askari’s head. That sounded… familiar. No it was more than right, it was right! Somehow… she had already known that! Volo backed up a step, confused.
“And then… there’s the Batlte Facilities. Specialized facilities designed for battled to be conducted and trainers of all skill levels go to for training and a challenge greater than even that of the Pokémon League. These facilities are where the true masters reign supreme and the Bosses of a facility are expected to conduct themselves with dignity, morality, and as a role model to those around them. For they are the best of the best, the being who could easily become champion should they wish it. And that… Volo… is where I come in.”
Ingo finally looked up, his eyes blazing with rage and hatred,
“In my homeland of Unova, there is a certain significance between twins. Lord Reshiram here is one of two great dragons, a pair of twins of black and white. I too am a twin, one of black and white. My brother and I have conducted Unova’s premier Battle Facility, the Battle Subway, together for many years after having built the subway up form the ground up. It is why I talk and act in the manners I do, as such things were a regular part of my job back home. When I returned home through your so m-called “grace” the last of my e memories were shaken loose and I learned who I really was. I am Ingo, I am the eldest twin brother of the Subway Masters, and me and Reshiram traveled through time with the assistance of Lord Dialga and his envoy, Celebi, to stop you after your meddling caused paradoxes that resulted int the injury of my brother Emmet and the disappearance of Reshiram’s brother Zekrom!!”
This. This is fantastic.
I can envision the coming beatdown and it’s glorious.
May Acreus have mercy on you Volo, because Ingo and Reshiram won’t.

amphibia ending would work if:
1. anne didn’t fit in more in wartwood than she did in earth
2. if the escapism theme also fit anne
3. if the plantars werent as close...if not more at the beginning than her biological family
4. if anne and the plantars hadnt gone through so much trauma together
5. the boonchuy parents hadnt filled the parent shaped void in polly and sprig’s hearts
6. and finally...if there was a better reason that they couldn’t see each other than a diety refusing to give anne three full stones but trusting her with the power of being a god???
but in reality...
1. anne never really fit in at earth, wartwood was the first place where she actually belonging. she always had to be stood up for...in wartwood she was the one standing up for others
2. anne was the one trying to get home from the beginning, and she never thought of amphibia as a fantasy plaything or a world to rule over. as time progressed she genuinely began to thing of it as home
3. anne was as close with the plantars as she was with her parents. but she chooses her parents because bio family >> found family. wtf??? what show am i watching??
4. season 1 finale, after the rain, the three temples, true colors, the entire earth arc, all in, most of the hardest thing...and theres probably more. THEY ALL EXISTED. anne’s journey was not some tehehe fantasy world low stakes thing. it was insane.
5. POLLY AND SPRIG BONDED W/ BEE N OUM SO MUCH!!!! they deserve parents fck u hardest thing >:(((
5. so...lets talk about this. 1/2 of one gem can crush a giant salamander robot and keep a girl alive even tho she smashed into multiple buildings. but 3 whole gems (6x the power) plus hundred of frobots can’t push a moon? and the core can?? and the girls weren’t smart enough to just. destroy. the core?? and then theres the god thing i talked about.
end of me being salty again. now imma go create some positive content (aka the next work in the what makes its way back series)
